A Beautiful Noise - The Neil Diamond Musical

A Beautiful Noise - The Neil Diamond Musical at Tivoli Theatre - Chattanooga

You can know every word to “Sweet Caroline” and still have something to learn about the man who wrote it. A Beautiful Noise puts Neil Diamond’s songs inside the story of his career. This July 18 performance at the Tivoli Theatre in Chattanooga gives you the chance to hear those familiar melodies while following the person behind them.

The musical moves from his early New York days to the major concerts that became part of his public life. A song can take on a different weight when you’ve spent time with the character before it begins. Even if you already know how the career turns out, there’s pleasure in seeing how a stage story gets from one chapter to the next.

This is an outing you can share with someone who first heard Diamond at a different age. You might know “America” from a record somebody played at home. They might know “Cracklin’ Rosie” from the radio. See which one of you recognizes a song first, and talk about what the story did to your memory of it afterward.

You can make a day of hearing those songs together instead of putting them on while you do something else. Find ticket options for A Beautiful Noise and plan a night worth belting out together.
