Plan Your Visit to Tivoli Theatre
Where is the Tivoli Theatre?
Use 709 Broad Street for the Tivoli. If you’re meeting someone downtown, send them the theatre name and street address together. The Tivoli Theatre Foundation operates several spaces, so a ticket or calendar entry with the foundation’s name alone won’t tell you where to go.
CARTA publishes a downtown parking directory and shuttle information. If you plan to park farther from Broad Street and ride the shuttle, check its service hours for the return trip. For a drop-off, choose a legal curb location and agree on a pickup point before your group goes inside.
Which seating chart should I use?
The auditorium was renovated before reopening, with changes to seating and accessibility. Use the chart for your specific performance when choosing seats. Older photographs are useful for recognizing the building but may show seating or public areas before the restoration.
Think about which part of a performance you most want to see. A closer view makes faces easier to follow, while a broader view can help you take in choreography or a large cast. Check the actual row and section on the booking before comparing those options.
How do I plan an accessible visit?
The restoration includes a front-of-house elevator and accessible seating platforms. Ask the venue which entrance to use and how to reach your particular section. If you need companion seating or a step-free route to your row, confirm those details while choosing tickets.
The restored public areas also include additional restrooms and concessions. Ask the foundation about the closest available facilities to your section if the distance from the seat to the lobby matters to your group.
What should I check before leaving?
Use the foundation’s event instructions for doors, ticket delivery and any show-specific entry rules. A theatre performance, concert and comedy date can have different arrangements. Save the booking details where you can find them at the door and leave a little time to locate your section after entering.
