Waitress

Waitress at Tivoli Theatre - Chattanooga

Maybe you picture a musical about a waitress and her pies and expect something simple. just sugar and smiles. But as soon as Jenna shares a secret in song, the story turns out to have more layers than her pie crust. You’re seated in the Tivoli Theatre, pie on stage, and suddenly the whole room smells like possibility.

There’s nothing like hearing a heartfelt Sara Bareilles melody blooming from a Broadway stage. Those songs travel from gentle humor to honest hunger (for something better, for someone new) with a handful of flour and a big voice. Every number brings you closer to the characters. especially when the regulars at the diner start swapping stories over coffee. It’s the kind of warm, witty atmosphere that makes you want to order another helping, just to see how the story unfolds.

Take a friend who laughs loud or someone who never turns down dessert. You’ll get the sweetness, but you’ll also see the cracks and courage underneath, in a way that makes a quiet February evening in Chattanooga feel a whole lot brighter. Watching Jenna weigh her choices and roll out dough gives everyone in the seats a reason to hope for a second slice of happiness. Check ticket options for Waitress and make a plan to go together.
