Carmen Lagala

Carmen Lagala at The Comedy Catch

You might show up at The Comedy Catch thinking stand-up is just punchlines and setups, but then Carmen Lagala hits the stage, and the whole room shifts. Imagine expecting polite small talk, then catching yourself laughing out loud when a comedian says what you’ve only dared whisper to your best friend. That wonderful zap of honest humor is exactly what Carmen brings to Chattanooga.

She doesn’t hide behind dated routines or shrink from today’s messiest topics. Instead, she tells offbeat personal stories that walk right into the awkward spaces where everyone else was about to change the subject. Carmen thrives in the gap between the polite version of events and what’s really rattling around in your head. It’s smart, bold, and a little mischievous. like reliving a painfully funny moment in your own life, only this time you’re proud it happened.

A night out for comedy like this can flip your week around. Grab your most unshockable friend or meet up with a coworker who loves to laugh at things they’d never admit in an email. In person, her candor feels almost electric. you can’t get that from a clip on your phone.

On Thursday, November 14, let yourself hear the truth out loud at The Comedy Catch in Chattanooga. Find ticket options for Carmen Lagala and see how far your sense of humor can go.
