Waitress

Waitress at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Auditorium

Picture yourself sliding into a booth just as Jenna starts to imagine her perfect pie, the kind with a clever name and a story tucked inside. At the heart of Waitress is Jenna’s talent for baking hope into just about anything. even when her own world needs a sprinkle of change. There’s something both poignant and irresistible about following her journey as she stirs up new beginnings in the kitchen and beyond.

What makes this story work is everything that happens when Jenna’s not alone. The regulars at the diner know how to trade a wisecrack for a real confession, and it’s those kitchen-table friendships that remind her what she’s worth. You’ll hear her dreams in the music, thanks to Sara Bareilles.

Seeing Waitress in person means catching all of the moments that crackle with life. the half-whispered asides near the pie case or the hope that fills a room when someone’s about to risk everything for a second chance. It’s one thing to know the story, but it’s something else to witness how small gestures and quiet confessions add up to real change, right there in front of you.
