Bored Teachers

Bored Teachers at Robert Kirk Walker Theatre

You show up, sit down, and realize you’ve never seen a teacher riff quite like this. That’s half the thrill of Bored Teachers hitting Walker Theatre in Chattanooga. you’re on the other side of the classroom, and nobody’s passing notes to derail the lesson. Instead, a group of teacher-comedians are up there, spinning the wild (and often painfully familiar) sagas from life at school. If you ever wondered what teachers whisper about in the lounge, here’s your front-row ticket to the answers.

Think of every substitute mishap, the kid who wants to be class clown, or the email subject line you just know is trouble. The crew behind Bored Teachers’ Is It Friday Yet?! tour has lived those stories and sharpened them into the kind of crowd-pleasers that are best laughed at in public. No classroom is off-limits. and nobody’s grading your response, so you’re free to let out the snorts, howls, or applause as you please.

This isn’t just for teachers, either. Whether you’re married to one, raising one, or simply managed to survive middle school with your dignity mostly intact, you’ll catch the punchlines. Bring a friend who’s got stories of their own, or invite your favorite teacher for a break from the endless stack of assignments.

Let someone else handle roll call for a night and give yourself teacher-approved permission to laugh until your abs ache. Find ticket options for Bored Teachers at Walker Theatre and enjoy some well-earned comic relief.
