Sarah Rose Hyland at The Comedy Catch

You sit across from a friend and realize their whole vibe changed the second they slumped a little, raised an eyebrow, or pointed with both hands at once. the little physical tweaks that make a person into a character. Sarah Rose Hyland comes to The Comedy Catch in Chattanooga on January 7, 2027.

This is comedy that leans hard into movement and visual cues, built from a background in both the visual arts and hours of on-your-feet training at Second City. The way she stands or the shape of a gesture can become the punchline, and you get to catch every shift as it happens. It’s the kind of performance that feels as much like watching improv as it does looking at new art for the first time.

If you’ve ever tried to imitate someone’s walk and ended up cracking up yourself, you’ll appreciate just how much mileage a slight posture change can get. And seeing it up close, in person, lets you track every detail of the transition as Sarah pops from one persona to another. It makes the connection between audience and performer immediate and real. no edits, no second takes.

Give yourself the excuse to get out with a friend who likes a left-field laugh or just see what happens when a comic makes the room her stage. Find ticket options for Sarah Rose Hyland at The Comedy Catch and watch a whole lineup of characters take shape on a Chattanooga night.
