The Outsiders

The Outsiders at Tivoli Theatre - Chattanooga

It’s easier to root for the Greasers when you’re sitting close enough to see Johnny nervously grip his jacket. On April 6, The Outsiders comes to Tivoli Theatre in Chattanooga. fresh from a Tony win and ready to put you in the middle of Tulsa at its most torn-up and alive.

There’s a reason Ponyboy and his friends have lasted through generations: everyone remembers feeling like an outsider. You get to watch Ponyboy, Johnny, and the rest of the crew try to make sense of the world around them. something most of us still do. In person, the stakes are higher and the risks sharper, with every word bouncing right off the walls and into the next big choice.

The sound is its own character this time, thanks to original music by Jamestown Revival and Justin Levine. The guitars and voices spin up from the pit and give Tulsa a pulse underneath all that loyalty and tension. You’ll hear familiar moments, but the songs let you see this world from the inside out, whether you come in loving the book or not. It’s the sort of theatre night that keeps you thinking afterward.

This is the show to invite the friend who still has their paperback copy or the one who loves a powerful live score. Check ticket options for The Outsiders and make a plan to go together.
