Frankly Scarlett and Runaway Gin Tribute to the Grateful Dead and Phish

Frankly Scarlett and Runaway Gin Tribute to the Grateful Dead and Phish at The Barrelhouse Ballroom

Fans of the Grateful Dead and Phish can spend a whole evening talking about the differences between the two. This double bill gives them something to listen to together. Frankly Scarlet interprets the Dead, and Runaway Gin takes on Phish. Follow how each tribute band treats the space around a recognizable tune. Frankly Scarlet and Runaway Gin comes to The Barrelhouse Ballroom in Chattanooga on Saturday, February 27, 2027, at 8:00 p.m.

A tribute show can be especially enjoyable when the original music leaves the players something to interpret. You recognize the starting point, and then you have a reason to listen for where the musicians go from there. One evening with both groups lets you hear how much freedom there can be inside two familiar catalogs. Both groups give you a starting point.

If you came up on one band and never spent much time with the other, bring the person who keeps telling you where to start. You can hear both approaches in the same room. See what happens when you spend part of the night listening for the thing your friend hears in those records.

See tickets for Frankly Scarlet and Runaway Gin and share a night of two jam-band traditions.
