Mannheim Steamroller Christmas

Mannheim Steamroller Christmas at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Auditorium

Some people know a Christmas song by the first few words. With Mannheim Steamroller, you might know it by the shape of the arrangement before a word could be sung. Familiar melodies give you something to hold onto while the instruments take them somewhere a little less familiar. Mannheim Steamroller Christmas comes to Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Auditorium in Chattanooga on Thursday, December 17, 2026, at 7:30 p.m.

The annual tour is a chance to give those sounds more room than they usually get in December. You can follow an instrumental part instead of trying to sing along, and let the next familiar tune arrive without worrying about what’s waiting at home. That alone can make a holiday concert worth putting on the calendar. Pick one tune you know well and see which part of the arrangement gets your attention first.

Make it the December plan everyone can put on the calendar. The person who starts playing Christmas records early and the person who has already heard enough background music can listen to the same tune for different reasons. Take a moment afterward to find out which arrangement each of you remembers.
