Youth Fountain

Youth Fountain at The Barrelhouse Ballroom

The bright hooks in Youth Fountain can carry some pretty difficult words. That’s part of the pull. You can find yourself following the tune first and coming back to a line once you’ve had time to think about it. In a room with the artist, there’s room to pay attention to both at once. Youth Fountain comes to The Barrelhouse Ballroom in Chattanooga on Sunday, February 7, 2027, at 8:00 p.m.

You can hear the pull of the music even if the words are about something you’d rather leave alone. That tension gives Youth Fountain a reason to be heard with the volume up and your attention in one place. It’s an evening for people who like their melodies direct and their lyrics a little less easy to brush off. A chorus can carry both feelings.

If you have a friend who got you into melodic punk, take them. You can send each other a song before you go and hear what each of you likes about it without turning the evening into a test of who knows more. The music is direct enough to enjoy on a first listen.

Look up Youth Fountain tickets and make a Sunday plan at the Ballroom.
