Tell Me Lies - Tribute To Fleetwood Mac
Tell Me Lies - Tribute To Fleetwood Mac at Robert Kirk Walker Theatre
The harmonies on a Fleetwood Mac record can pull your attention away from whatever you were doing. Tell Me Lies gives you a chance to listen to those arrangements as a live tribute. Follow the voices for a while, then hear what the rhythm is doing underneath them. The two are closely tied together. Tell Me Lies comes to The Walker Theatre in Chattanooga on Saturday, February 6, 2027, at 8:00 p.m.
The tribute format makes the musicianship an interesting part of the evening. You can watch how the players fit together while listening for the parts that made the originals stick with you. A bit of backing vocal you hardly notice at home can turn out to be the thing you want to follow when it’s happening in front of you.
Take someone who remembers the records when they were new, or someone who got to them through a completely different route. You can recognize the same sounds for different reasons. And when you know a melody already, you have time to notice the work the tribute players put into everything around it.
